Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre

Ms Candy has taught in Hong Kong and Australia for 10 years. Dancing has been her passion since the age of 10. Ms Candy was trained in Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Modern Jazz at the Australian Dance Performance Institute in Brisbane, Australia, where she graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Arts (Dance Performance). She is also a Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD, UK) and the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD, Australia), having completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies and the Teaching Diploma in Modern Jazz, respectively. Ms Candy is also a qualified Pilates Instructor.

Ms Candy has been teaching RAD Ballet, CSTD Modern Jazz and (Australian Teachers of Dance, Australia) ATOD Jazz Moves for students from 3 years old to Advanced levels and has choreographed for several dance productions and competitions in ballet and modern jazz.

For two consecutive years, Ms Candy’s choreography won the gold medal for the CSTD Kangaroo Cup in 2011 and 2012. At the 14th Asia Pacific Dance Competition in 2012, her dance troupe whom she trained was also awarded the Honourable Performer Award in Choreography. Again in 2017, Ms Candy’s dance troupe was awarded the Gold Medal 3rd ranking in Choreography for Kangaroo Cup in Hong Kong. 

Since 2013, Ms Candy has choreographed for numerous full-length dance productions such as ‘Michael Jackson Generation’ in 2013, ‘Hairspray Party’ in 2015 and ‘Wizard of Oz’ in 2017.
