Ms Chewy started her dance journey in 2010 in Hip Hop, Street Jazz and Kpop. Always seeking to challenge herself, Ms Chewy has participated in numerous dance competitions such as, Pulse Street Dance Kpop Competition where she clinched first place, second runner up in Tampines Kpop Competition, Super 24 was the back-up dancer for Hong Kong celebrity G.E.M. at her concert in Singapore in 2018. Ms Chewy also performed at the National Day Parade and at the Got To Move, and many others.

Ms Chewy’s passion for teaching started when she first taught speech and drama to children in 2014. From there, her love for nurturing young children and building up their confidence grew. In 2015, she expanded her teaching scope to include dance where she conducted workshops and choreographed for SIM’s Annual Dance Production in 2016 & 2017, studio productions and dance competitions.
Ms Chewy has also taught in various schools, such as the PAL programmes, Primary 6 graduation dance performances, childcare centres year-end concerts. Ms Chewy is also the resident instructor at institutions such as White Sands Primary School, PSB Academy, UWCSEA.
