RAD Ballet, CSTD Jazz

Ms Zara graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts(NAFA) with a Diploma in Dance. She started Ballet at the age of 5, and has obtained her Royal Academy of Dance up to Advanced Foundation, and The Commonwealth Society of Teachers Dancing (CSTD) in Ballet certificates up to Elementary.

During her time in NAFA, she was taught by Jenny Chien, Dr Filomar Tariao, Rosa Park and many other reputable instuctors in the local dance scene. She has performed and assisted in NAFA's annual performances, Third Space and Crossings, where she honed her performing and backstage production skills. Ms Zara also had the opportunity to go on exchange programmes to the University of Melbourne in Australia, and Contemporary School of Dance in Leeds to deepen her technical understanding of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, taking her dancing to the next level.

Upon graduation, Ms Zara began her teaching journey with children and adults in schools and various dance studios. Ms Zara is passionate about imparting her knowledge and love for dance in fun and creative ways. Ms Zara's interest and firm belief in the correct use of the body and muscles when dancing has also led her to take up a Degree in Sports Science and Exercise in 2022, which she hopes to share with her students through her teaching.
